About Me!
Erich Phelps is a Boston-based singer, dancer, actor, musician and DJ. As a soon to be graduate of Emerson College with a BFA in Musical Theatre, he is more than excited to share his passions professionally in the years come.
​
He specializes in both Musical Theatre and Pop/Rock styles with a knack for cabaret-style performance. At his time in college, he has had the opportunity to participate in numerous collegiate productions, playing a wide variety of characters that showcase all of his best talents. He also has an affinity for music production and DJing. In his down time, you can find him creating electronic music and DJ sets for all of your favorite dance parties.

Originally from Stonington, CT, Erich is a big New-Englander at heart with a love for its history and culture. He began playing instruments like the trumpet and flute in his younger years which then translated over to voice and theatre training. Now in his adult life, he aims to use his musical proficiency to tell captivating stories and make fresh music that brings joy to the people around him.
What Am I Up To?
Amour - Emerson Stage - Dec 4-7, 2024
A collegiate production of Dider Van Cauwelaert's musical, Amour. Erich was very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with one of Boston's finest directors, Larry Sousa, on this production. He played the role of Prosector/Charles.

AIDA Cruiselines - Lead Vocalist
Erich is THRILLED to announce that he will be joining AIDA Cruislines on AIDAperla as a Lead Vocalist for the rest of 2025. It has been a dream of his for years to travel the world while sharing his talents and he could not be more excited to embark on this new adventure.
Head Over Heels - Emerson Stage - April 17-19
Erich finished his collegiate performance career playing Basilius in Emerson Stage's production of Head Over Heels. It was his fourth time working with Ilana Ransom-Toeplitz as a director and he couldn't have been more proud of her work. If given the chance, he would do this show again in a heartbeat.

DJ Work and Music Production
Erich has always had a strong attraction to electronic music, collecting and curating playlists of house, techno, bass and electro music. In his college life, he began creating music on GarageBand, experimenting with different sounds and vocals. He hopes to release some of his work by the end of 2025.

Over the summer of 2024, he purchased his first controller and speakers and began stringing music together to create sets for his friends. After playing a few house parties, Erich started uploading his work to his Soundcloud under his DJ name, DJ MarquiXXX. The name is a play on his French Canadian mother's maiden name, Marquis, which he has always loved.

Now that he has his footing, Erich is looking for work as a DJ locally and would love to make a small name for himself. Take a listen below to some of his work and stay tuned as he has some planned gigs in the near future!
